Yoga Shorts
In this mini series I capture various segments of the asana practice through digital self-videography. The silhouette lighting is intended to highlight the fluid movement and shapes that are created in the practice, ultimately for the intention to express the varying flow of energy that can be both manipulated and circulated throughout the practice of yoga. The element of music is also incorporated to enhance this effect.
Chakras

For my senior thesis I created a visual representation of the chakras. Through the use of color, the chakra system is displayed in order from root to crown. Some chakras contain multiple images to demonstrate the energy of the center, while others are represented by a singular image. Through the use of self-portrait, I captured the way in which each chakra was expressing itself in my body at the time.
Made of Glass

This is a series about vulnerability and the beauty that can result from such expression. Using plexiglass, paint and objects of nature, I explore the collaboration between transparency and vibrancy. What happens when we display ourselves/nature/color/ through glass rather than behind walls? By stripping the energetic boundaries that we so often put up and rather display such objects in their true form, one is able to identify detail, beauty and vibrancy that lies within all forms of nature.
